EKG Technician Certificate Requirements
Gavilan College Community Education
The EKG Technician Certificate Program prepares students with the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to perform electrocardiograms (EKGs) in hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare settings. Students who successfully complete the course will receive a Certificate of Completion from Gavilan College Community Education.
Program Requirements
To enroll in the EKG Technician course, students must:

Be 18 years of age or older

Possess a high school diploma or GED

Provide a valid government-issued photo ID

Have basic English reading and writing skills
